digital pre-press department The Digital Prepress Department at TigerPress operates with the commercial print industries' leading-edge, state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

TigerPress has adopted the industry standard GRACoL (General Requirements for Applications in Commercial Offset Lithography) specifications established by the Graphic Communications Association (GCA) to improve communications between printers, and those producing artwork for print production.

With the recent addition of the AGFA Avalon Thermofuse CTP (computer to plate) platesetter, we are now able to produce plates without dot gain. This produces a cleaner image, and maximizes the benefits of direct to plate technology while enhancing color reproduction.

Files headed for the AGFA Avalon Thermofuse CtP (computer to plate) platesetter are digitally imposed with Preps and sent through our RamPage workflow.

We can accept files via Web Transfer, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM.
